About the Role
This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit back and wait for opportunities to come their way.
We're looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth across London and the South and play a key role in the next chapter of Cooper Parry Wealth's success. You'll combine relationship-building expertise with commercial thinking, helping us create opportunities, grow our network and bring new clients into the business.
Working closely with Partners, Relationship Managers and marketing teams, you'll raise our profile in the market, strengthen referral relationships and help convert opportunities into lasting client partnerships.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced business development professional who wants to make a visible impact within a fast-growing, ambitious business.
This is a role with real influence, real accountability and real opportunity. What you can expect:
- Drive business development activity across London and the South, identifying opportunities and supporting sustainable growth.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities through networking, referrals and proactive relationship management.
- Develop trusted relationships with Partners, professional introducers, centres of influence and high-net-worth individuals.
- Represent Cooper Parry Wealth at events, networking opportunities and industry forums, helping to raise our profile and reputation.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities and convert prospects into long-term clients.
- Collaborate with marketing and wider business teams to support regional business development campaigns and initiatives.
- Use market insight and commercial awareness to identify trends, spot opportunities and contribute to growth plans.
- Help strengthen collaboration across the wider Cooper Parry Group, uncovering opportunities to deliver additional value to clients.
This isn't just an opportunity to join a growing business; it's an opportunity to grow with it. For the right individual, there is a clear pathway to progress into a director role as we continue to scale and invest in our growth ambitions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
