Your Mission

About the role

At ubitricity, we are helping local authorities deliver accessible, reliable and scalable public EV charging infrastructure across the UK.

We are looking for a Senior Business Development & Partnership Manager who is proactive, hands-on and commercially minded. As a sales/ business development role, you will own the sales and tender pipeline by identifying opportunities, turn them into concrete actions and help shape future growth with local authorities, public-sector stakeholders, consultants and strategic partners.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys relationship management with public-sector stakeholders, understands how to approach them professionally and knows how to inform, engage and activate them in the right way. You will play a key role in strengthening existing client relationships, building new client relationships, and developing future opportunities and positioning ubitricity as a trusted long-term partner in the UK EV charging market.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, public-sector clients, consultants and strategic partners.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact across active and future EV charging infrastructure projects.
  • Understand client priorities, local transport plans, procurement timelines and EV charging ambitions.
  • Develop stakeholder engagement plans and account plans for key clients and future opportunities.
  • Prepare, structure and follow up on client meetings, workshops and relationship reviews.

Partnership Development & Opportunity Shaping

  • Identify and actively pursue opportunities and collaborations including direct upsells, contract extensions, brownfield opportunities and upcoming tender opportunities.
  • Support early engagement around upcoming EV charging opportunities, including LEVI-funded programmes.
  • Influence future opportunities through strong client relationships, relevant insights and clear positioning of ubitricity’s offer.
  • Maintain relationships with consultants, framework partners, industry stakeholders and public-sector bodies.
  • Represent ubitricity at client meetings, workshops, industry events and relevant stakeholder forums.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
