About the Role
- Generate new business opportunities through targeted outbound prospecting, LinkedIn, email, calls, events, and other channels
- Qualify and nurture inbound and early-stage leads, focusing on quality rather than simply booking high volumes of meetings
- Research target accounts and identify senior decision-makers across project management, transformation, operations, and technology
- Work directly with the Head of Business Development throughout the sales cycle
- Join discovery calls, support follow-up activity, and gradually take greater ownership of prospect conversations
- Prepare meeting briefs, tailored outreach, pitch materials, business cases, and proposal support
- Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure every opportunity is followed up professionally
- Contribute ideas around messaging, target markets, campaigns, and the wider business development strategy
- Support a varied pipeline of opportunities, from smaller software deployments to complex enterprise deals
- Progress towards leading discovery calls and managing selected opportunities independently
- Develop into a full closing sales role within approximately 12 months, depending on performance
- Work remotely while maintaining regular overlap with colleagues and prospects in North American time zones

Your Previous Experience
- At least one year's experience in a B2B sales, SDR, BDR, or lead-generation role
- A proven record of generating qualified opportunities through outbound activity
- Comfortable using cold email, LinkedIn, and telephone outreach to engage prospective customers
- Experience selling software, technology, or another complex B2B solution would be highly advantageous
- Confident communicating with senior and executive-level stakeholders
- Able to research accounts properly and create thoughtful, relevant outreach rather than relying on generic volume
- Strong written communication, organization, and attention to detail
- Commercially ambitious and motivated by progression into a closing role
- Comfortable continuing to prospect while developing broader sales-cycle experience
- Self-motivated and able to perform effectively in a fully remote environment
- Professional, personable, and consultative, with the ability to build genuine relationships
- Proactive and reliable, with strong follow-up and CRM discipline

Package
- £40,000–£45,000 base salary DOE
- Commission on qualified and closed opportunities sourced
- Fully remote
