Enterprise Business Development Representative
Salary: Up to £50,000 + uncapped bonus (OTE: £80,000)
Location: London – Old Street
Working pattern: Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office
About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious Enterprise Business Development Representative (BDR) to play a key role in driving growth across the UK & Ireland market. Your primary focus will be generating Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQOs) with senior decision-makers within the Customer Care, Customer Support, Customer Experience and Operations functions of enterprise businesses.
The role will focus on target sectors including:
- E-commerce
- Financial services
- Insurance
- Mobility
- Travel
- Telecommunications
- Utilities
You will take ownership of building a high-quality sales pipeline through a combination of creative outbound activity, relationship building, partnerships and industry events. As the owner of the initial qualification process, you will identify and develop opportunities where there is a clear business need, relevant decision-maker and compelling use case before handing qualified opportunities over to the wider sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage senior decision-makers across target accounts.
- Build and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.
- Develop creative and effective outbound campaigns across email, phone, LinkedIn and other relevant channels.
- Conduct initial discovery and qualification conversations to understand business challenges, requirements and potential use cases.
- Apply a structured qualification methodology to assess opportunity quality and sales potential.
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders including Heads of Customer Care, Customer Experience, Operations, COO and CCO-level contacts.
- Attend relevant industry events and conferences to generate new relationships and opportunities.
- Identify and develop potential partner relationships that can support market growth.
- Work closely with the wider sales and marketing teams to maximise pipeline generation and conversion.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure strong qualification and pipeline hygiene.
- Continuously test and improve outbound messaging, prospecting strategies and conversion rates.

Key Performance Indicators
Success in the role will be measured against:
- Revenue enabled
- Number of qualified opportunities generated
- Conversion rate from prospect to qualified opportunity
- Quality and accuracy of opportunity qualification
- CRM and pipeline hygiene
About You
We are looking for someone with 3+ years' experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within a SaaS, technology, BPO, consulting or Customer Experience environment.

You should have:
- A proven track record of successful outbound sales and pipeline generation.
- Experience with cold outreach, self-sourced opportunities and event-based prospecting.
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A commercially minded and consultative approach to business development.
- The energy, resilience and ambition to play a key role in growing a business in the UK & Ireland.
- Experience using HubSpot or a similar CRM.
- An interest in using AI-powered sales and business development tools to improve productivity and performance.
- A proactive, self-starting approach with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a wider team.
- The ability and willingness to work from a central London office at least 3 days per week.
