Senior Business Finance Broker
The Broker House | London, City (hybrid)
Base salary of £45,000 to £55,000 | Uncapped commission structure
About us
The Broker House is a specialist finance brokerage arranging bridging loans, development finance, commercial mortgages, and business funding for business owners across the UK. We're FCA regulated, and we're unusual for a brokerage of our size: we generate our own demand through an in-house marketing engine, our own quote funnels, and a client portal we built ourselves. The leads arrive every day. We need the person who converts them, and then builds the desk that does.
The role
You'll be closing deals from day one, and as you grow your portfolio of clients, you'll build the business finance department around you: expanding our lender panel, shaping new campaigns with marketing, and hiring and developing junior brokers. We're not looking for someone to fill a seat. We're looking for someone to spearhead the department and end up running what they have built.

What you'll do
- Convert inbound leads from our funnels and build your own outbound pipeline
- Structure deals and package clean, complete submissions that lenders say yes to
- Grow our panel of lenders: new relationships, sharper terms, faster decisions
- Collaborate with marketing and strategy to launch new campaigns, from start to finish
- Hire, train, and mentor junior brokers as the team scales
- Own your numbers: pipeline, conversion, and completions, reviewed weekly
What we're looking for
- At least 2 years' experience in business finance, with deals you closed yourself
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation: clean files, first time
- The ambition to lead a team, not just carry a target

What we offer
- £45,000 - £55,000 base salary depending on experience
- Double OTE: realistic on-target earnings of £100k+
