Senior Business Finance Centre Partner
📍 Location: Walton Oaks
💰 Rate: £29 per hour
📅 Contract: 6 months with strong potential for extension for a further 6 months
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Finance Centre Partner to join a leading Commercial Finance team on an initial 6-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional with strong planning, forecasting, reporting, and stakeholder management experience to play a key role in supporting local and regional finance teams.
As part of the Commercial Finance organisation, you will work collaboratively with Market Finance Directors, Business Finance teams, Commercial Finance colleagues, and Business Finance Centre (BFC) teams to ensure critical financial deliverables are completed accurately, on time, and to a high standard.
You will also contribute to finance transformation initiatives, support process improvements, and help drive the implementation of digital tools while providing guidance and support to junior team members.

- Lead the planning, preparation, and delivery of BFC financial processes for assigned markets and business units.
- Manage operational planning (OP), forecasting, baseline projections, financial submissions, and reporting activities.
- Prepare standard financial presentations and consolidate offline financial templates.
- Provide financial insight, reporting, and analysis to support planning, decision-making, and performance reviews.
- Analyse revenue trends, validate costs, and ensure data accuracy across financial deliverables.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for supported Market Finance Directors regarding BFC deliverables.
- Handle escalations and respond to ad hoc business requests within agreed timelines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across local, regional, and global teams.
- Support and mentor junior BFC Partners through knowledge sharing and guidance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to finance transformation programmes.
- Promote effective use of financial systems, modelling tools, and digital solutions.

Skills & Experience Required
Essential
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
- Strong background in Business Finance within a local market or regional finance environment.
- Financial reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
- Financial modelling
- Performance management
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial insights clearly.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent English.
Desirable
- Professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or part-qualified status.
- MBA or Master's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Experience working within a matrix organisation.
- Exposure to finance transformation and process improvement initiatives.
- Experience working with Mosaic or similar financial planning systems.
