A day in the life.
As our Senior Business Intelligence Analyst on the Risk Management Team, you will ensure the Risk Management Information System (RMIS) is running efficiently on a day-to-day basis. You will address database issues, strive for continuous improvement, and learn and implement new technologies. You will be responsible for configuration, data mapping and transfer, report and dashboard design and configuration on the software.
Key Responsibilities
Core Duties
- Maintain day-to-day data administration of RMIS.
- Configure the RMIS platform to meet internal and external client requirements.
- Perform data conversion analysis, design, testing, control balancing, data clean up, mappings and resolves exception.
- Facilitate meetings with internal and external clients to gather and document requirements.
- Communicate complex information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Seek opportunities for innovations and enhancements to existing processes and tools to further benefit colleagues and clients.
- Maintain documentation for standards, best practices, complex installations, configurations, and optimization procedures.
- Design and build reports and dashboards to transform data into meaningful insights.
- Prepare training materials and conduct user training.
- Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues.
- Assists with the training and onboarding of new colleagues.

Our future colleague.
We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience working with a Risk Management Information System (RMIS).
- 5+ years of P&C Insurance experience.
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL Server, and Power BI skills.
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong written/verbal communication, facilitation, teamwork, and organization skills.
- Ability to execute independently with minimum guidance and oversight, including resolution of technical challenges, utilizing internal and external resources.
- Ability to multitask and manage project timelines.
- Ability to travel as needed for educational purposes, client meetings, team meetings, or conferences, expected to be less than 10% of the time.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $78,100 to $145,700.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
