The Role
- Partner with client business stakeholders to understand reporting, analytics, and operational performance requirements.
- Act as the bridge between business and technical teams, translating reporting needs into scalable Power BI solutions.
- Deliver insightful dashboards, KPIs, and analytics that support client operational efficiency and sustainability objectives.
- Drive data-driven decision making through accurate, governed, and user-friendly reporting solutions.
- Support continuous improvement of reporting capabilities, data quality, and business intelligence adoption across the organization.
Your Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and validate business reporting and analytics requirements from UK-based stakeholders.
- Define KPIs, reporting metrics, business rules, and success criteria aligned with client operational goals.
- Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic data models.
- Ensure data quality, perform report testing, troubleshoot issues, and drive user adoption of BI solutions.

Your Profile
Essential Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, reporting, analytics, or data-focused roles.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models.
- Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query, SQL, dimensional modelling, and star schema design.
- Proven experience in business requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and KPI development.
- Strong understanding of data visualization best practices, performance optimization, and BI testing methodologies.

Desirable Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Experience working with UK customers and distributed stakeholder teams.
- Knowledge of data governance, reporting standards, and enterprise BI frameworks.
- Experience supporting operational, logistics, utilities, waste management, or field-service businesses.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery, user story creation, and acceptance criteria definition.
- Experience driving business adoption, training users, and promoting data-driven decision making.
