As a Senior Business Liaison Officer, you’ll be at the forefront of our business engagement and support. This varied and interesting role offers the chance to work across multiple projects and activities — from networking, business engagement and relationship-building to marketing, project management, commissioning and more.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Can offer first-class customer service
  • Are able to communicate effectively with a range of customers and external partners
  • Are enthusiastic, organised self-starters
  • Can plan and organise varied workloads
  • Will enjoy working and travelling county-wide

  1. Significant customer service experience and commitment to a customer service approach which puts the customer at the heart of decision making
  2. Ability to use own initiative to solve complex problems, develop solutions, and welcome change.
  3. Ability to communicate effectively with a range of customers and external partners using tact, diplomacy and negotiation skills, responding to complaints in a professional and courteous manner
  4. Developed ICT skills, including the ability to accurately input and check data.
  5. Ability to remain calm under pressure, including the confidence to take control of a difficult situation
  6. Ability to deal with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
  7. An understanding of collective responsibility within a management team
