Your Responsibilities

The Finance department is developing and enhancing its capabilities. A vision and strategy for Finance is currently being developed, which will review the organisational structure, the use of financial systems, increase the efficiency of our processes and enhance the engagement with our internal and external clients. This is an exciting time to be part of the firm’s Finance department and we expect new joiners to actively contribute to the development of the team.

We have an opportunity for a Senior Business Partner to join the European Team.

There will be a focus on:

  • Acting as senior business partner for a line(s) of business.
  • Ensuring that the Senior Management and wider leadership group of the division(s) are effectively supported by the Finance department.
  • Working closely with the divisional leadership to understand their business and become a trusted advisor having real commercial impact.
  • Prepare and design monthly reporting packs providing insight into the figures and areas for business focus.
  • Maintaining strong financial control of the general ledger, accurate and timely management information.
  • Timely and accurate analysis of the P&L and movements in certain balance sheet accounts.
  • Liaising with other Finance teams to assist in reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Supporting the Group Finance team with technical accounting issues and implementation of new accounting standards.
  • Responsibility for controlling the ledger of one non-UK trading entity, including business partnering with key stakeholders, submitting regulatory returns and preparation of management accounts.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
