Are you curious, motivated, and forward-thinking? At FIS you’ll have the opportunity to work on some of the most challenging and relevant issues in financial services and technology. Our talented people empower us, and we believe in being part of a team that is open, collaborative, entrepreneurial, passionate, and above all, fun.
FIS Working Capital Solutions (FIS WCS) is one of the leading providers of SaaS based working capital solutions to Financial Institutions and Corporates. We provide our industry leading Platform to over 50 investors and 500 large corporate customers and have onboarded some of the largest banks in the world as white-label customers.
An exciting opportunity has come up to join our small team of dedicated FIS WCS Presales Solutions Consultants, to keep up with our accelerating global client acquisition strategy. This role will specialise in covering our Corporate opportunities which primarily focus on forms of Receivables Finance (Invoice Discounting, Factoring, Pool-based Receivables, Trade Receivables Securitisation), though can also include Payables Finance and Dynamic Discounting. These opportunities come directly from Corporates, or via our relationships with financial institutions.
Reporting to the Head of Presales, FIS WCS, the Business Solutions Consultant will be responsible for being the bridge between the Commercial and Technical Teams in the WCS business unit. The candidate will be a customer-focused, technical, and (ideally) financially savvy. They will work together with the wider teams in scoping projects for prospects and toward signing them as a client. The candidate may have worked in a high-paced Commercial Team previously, or perhaps at a Financial Institution focusing on originating transactions with corporates.
At first this role will require global coverage, though our sales activities are heavily weighted to EMEA and North America. As the team grows, resources will be regionalised.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
