Job Description
Purpose of the job
The Business Solutions Sr. Manager plays a critical commercial role in shaping and accelerating growth opportunities across the region. This role partners with country leadership, sales, account management and cross-functional subject matter experts to identify client needs, define compelling value propositions and develop solutions that drive revenue growth, strengthen client relationships and deliver measurable commercial impact for both clients and Collinson.
We are looking for a commercially minded problem solver with a strong growth mindset who thrives in client-facing environments and can translate market insight, client challenges and strategic priorities into scalable solutions. As a key partner to both clients and internal teams, this role is instrumental in supporting new business wins, expanding existing accounts and increasing Collinson’s market relevance in EMEA.
Key Responsibilities
The Business Solutions Sr. Manager is a strategic growth partner for the region, responsible for shaping commercially compelling client solutions across the Financial Services and Travel sectors. Working closely with product, data and delivery teams, the role helps convert market opportunity into scalable propositions, stronger client value stories and revenue-generating outcomes.
- Develop scalable commercial best practices, tools and solution frameworks that improve win rates, strengthen value articulation and support growth across the business.
- Enable business development and account teams with insight-led propositions, strategic narratives and best-practice solution approaches that help unlock new revenue opportunities.
- Partner with regional and market commercial teams to identify, size and prioritise growth opportunities, build business cases and shape go-to-market strategies for key sectors, markets and clients.
- Work with Product, Data and Technology teams to shape market-ready propositions and right-sized solutions that strengthen competitive differentiation and support commercial success.
- Support strategic sales pursuits and complex opportunities by shaping solution responses, value propositions, commercial narratives and proposal content for non-standard or high-value deals.
- Support account growth by partnering with account management teams on strategic client interventions such as workshops, CVP development and QBRs that deepen relationships, expand share of wallet and position Collinson more strongly in-market.
- Build internal and external thought leadership that strengthens Collinson’s market position, supports client conversations and creates demand around loyalty, customer engagement and future growth opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
