Senior Business Central Specialist

Location: Sunderland, hybrid 3-4 days a week
Contract: Permanent

A Business Central Specialist is required to join a well-established organisation, taking ownership of the development, support, and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Reporting to the Business Systems Lead, this role will play a key part in delivering ERP enhancements, supporting digital transformation, and ensuring Business Central continues to meet the evolving needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

  • Own the development, support, and continuous improvement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and associated ERP functionality.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Business Central solutions, integrations, and customisations using the Microsoft development stack.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable, business-focused technology solutions.
  • Develop and support integrations with Microsoft Power Platform, Dataverse, Azure, and third-party applications.
  • Ensure system performance, data integrity, security, and governance are maintained across the Business Central environment.
  • Drive optimisation and automation opportunities, adopting a configuration-first approach to minimise technical debt.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Business Central, AL development, APIs, integrations, and ERP transformation within a Microsoft technology environment.
