Senior Business Systems Analyst – AI
Southampton | Hybrid
A leading international professional services firm is looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join its Innovation & AI team.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced applications / business systems professional who wants to work with emerging AI and technology without needing to be an AI developer or engineer.
The role
You'll take ownership of business applications across their full lifecycle, from implementation through to ongoing support and eventual decommissioning.
You'll be responsible for:
- Bringing new applications into the organisation
- Supporting implementation projects and working with software vendors
- Managing applications once live, including upgrades, configuration and issue resolution
- Troubleshooting application issues and supporting users
- Working with stakeholders to identify improvements and deliver better business outcomes
- Identifying opportunities for automation, efficiency and process improvement
- Supporting integrations and APIs where required
- Helping shape the organisation's approach to innovation and AI

We're looking for:
- Experience working with business applications / systems
- Experience implementing and supporting applications
- Strong understanding of the application lifecycle
- Experience working with vendors and third-party suppliers
- Professional services experience is a must
- An interest in AI and emerging technology
- Strong problem solving and stakeholder management skills
- Integration / API experience would be advantageous

This isn't an AI engineering role and it's not a traditional Business Analyst position. We're looking for someone who understands how business applications are implemented, managed and improved, and who is keen to develop their career in AI and innovation.
