Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst – Global Quality Systems
Department: Global IT
Location: Delta Park, Fareham, UK. Working on site 5 days per week
GLS: T04
Working hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday.

Job summary – What to expect:
To provide functional support and expand capabilities in the areas of Quality Management systems and Regulatory Systems development and management, IT solution design and administration. This function provides the lead in the process of delivering integrated business and information solutions. The role is responsible for ensuring that the Quality Management systems and their interface to corporate business systems is fit for purpose and meets the changing needs of Quality Management IT infrastructure.
As the Senior Business Systems Analyst in our IT Team you will:
- Quickly understand the business issues and data challenges of the organization and its customers.
- Identify effective solutions to operational issues – transaction processing – business information etc.
- Document, edit and review requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solutions.
- Develop functional specifications and system design specifications for new systems, new interfaces, new processes and new requirements.
- Evaluate local and global system development proposals and provide analysis and recommendations to local management on likely impacts.
- Provide expertise and problem resolution to the functional departments when issues extend outside the knowledge of the functional department Key Users.
- Research, communicate and demonstrate “best practice” opportunities for the local/regional organization, allowing key decision makers and local/regional managers the opportunity to leverage “best practice” as a strategic and competitive advantage for the organization.
- Manage Quality Management system projects.

About you:
We are looking for someone with:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Communication:
- Able to lead team and user group meetings.
- Delivers informative, well-organized presentations.
- Ability to understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
- Effectively communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand format.
Technical Understanding:
- Proven experience in the areas of application programming, database and system design.
- Experience and knowledge of Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures.
- Experience and knowledge of Oracle Agile PLM and Veeva Quality, or equivalent Quality systems.
- Knowledgeable about GxP Validated Systems.
Problem Solving:
- Identifies critical issues with ease by utilizing both IT knowledge and Quality Management process knowledge resulting in effective solutions.
- Pushes creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing systems and infrastructure.
Teamwork:
- People Skills – Dealing with different personalities and needs.
- Facilitates effective team interaction.
- Acknowledges and appreciates each team member's contributions.
Quality Management User Group Management:
- Develops relationships with the user community that fosters trust and the ability to work in partnership.
- Communicates effectively with users to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project/Quality Management.
Project Management:
- Prioritizing work to meet deadlines.
- Able to construct accurate timelines and produce sound estimates of level of effort.
Experience & Education:
Required:
- Detailed user knowledge and experience of Quality Management processes and systems in several major functional areas.
- Experience working directly in at least one of the major operational areas – Manufacturing, QA or other production environment.
- Must have extensive proven experience in Quality Management Systems with prior experience in Agile PLM strongly preferred.
- Must be familiar with Quality Systems and Background on Manufacturing.
- High level of IT literacy – concepts and terminology.
- Experience in the Project Management Life Cycle.
- Competence with all major Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and Visio.
