Job Description

As a Senior Business Systems Developer, you will shape the technology that powers our global operations, turning complex challenges into scalable solutions.

The Business Systems Solutions department builds and maintains systems and solutions for the company that keeps our internal operations running smoothly. By integrating custom-built software with third-party products, the team drives efficiency, scalability, and sustainability across the business.

You will collaborate with Technical Leads and Software Architects to deliver robust software solutions, utilising and driving the adoption of the latest AI-assisted development practices whilst also driving the integration of AI within our software solutions where appropriate. Your focus will be on coding, ensuring quality, and fostering continuous improvement. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to planning, release management, and technical direction, while championing best practices and mentoring Junior Developers.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid work from home policy.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in software development and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including API back-ends and UI front-end services.
  • Technical expertise in .Net, React, JavaScript, Python, MS-SQL or Postgres, and Cloud-based microservices.
  • Deep understanding of complex system architecture.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality, maintainable code through analytical problem-solving.
  • Track record of mentoring and guiding Junior Software Developers.
  • Practical application of AI-assisted development tools for code completion, generation, and review.
  • Knowledge of release management and quality control processes.
  • Experience integrating systems and collaborating across teams.
  • Passion for technology, delivery, and continuous improvement.
