Senior Business Transformation Analyst

Are you an experienced Business Analyst / Business Transformation professional with a strong background in Commercial Insurance and a passion for using data, technology and AI to drive meaningful change?

We’re working with a leading global insurance organisation that is looking for a Senior Business Transformation Analyst to join its UK Change & Transformation function.

This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of business, data, technology and transformation, partnering with senior stakeholders to shape and deliver strategic change across the insurance operation.

🔹 The Opportunity

You’ll play a key role in identifying opportunities, shaping solutions and supporting the future operating model across areas such as:

  • Underwriting and underwriting operations
  • Claims
  • Pricing and rating
  • Policy administration
  • Distribution and broker connectivity
  • Delegated authority
  • Operational resilience and regulatory change

You’ll lead business analysis and discovery across complex transformation initiatives, working closely with business leaders, technology teams and delivery specialists.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead analysis of complex business and operational challenges
  • Map processes, capabilities, value streams and operating models
  • Shape future-state solutions and target operating models
  • Lead discovery sessions and senior stakeholder workshops
  • Define business outcomes, KPIs and benefits
  • Translate data and analytics into actionable business recommendations
  • Identify opportunities for automation, AI and digital innovation
  • Support large-scale transformation programmes from discovery through delivery
  • Influence senior stakeholders and challenge assumptions constructively
  • Help develop and embed modern BA and transformation practices

🔹 What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Significant Business Analysis experience within Commercial Insurance
  • Strong understanding of London Market and/or Company Market operations
  • Experience delivering complex or large-scale transformation programmes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau or similar
  • Practical experience using AI-enabled tools to improve analysis and delivery
  • Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills
  • Confidence working with senior business and technology stakeholders

Desirable:

  • Business Architecture experience
  • Lean Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement
  • Product ownership or consulting experience
  • Exposure to cloud, workflow or automation platforms
  • Experience across underwriting, claims, pricing or insurance operations
