Senior Business Transformation Consultant - AI Strategy, Growth & Innovation

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Business Transformation Consultant - AI Strategy, Growth & Innovation based in the United Kingdom.

This role offers the opportunity to advise organizations on how to evolve their strategies, operations, and customer experiences through business transformation and emerging technologies.

You will work directly with executive stakeholders to identify opportunities, design practical solutions, and guide organizations through meaningful change.

Combining strategic consulting, AI innovation, and operational expertise, you will help businesses translate complex challenges into actionable transformation roadmaps.

The position requires a forward-thinking consultant who can bridge business objectives with technology-enabled solutions.

You will contribute to high-impact engagements focused on growth, efficiency, innovation, and organizational effectiveness.

Accountabilities

As a Senior Business Transformation Consultant, you will provide strategic advisory services to organizations seeking to improve performance, adopt innovative technologies, and accelerate transformation initiatives. You will lead assessments, develop recommendations, and support clients in turning strategic opportunities into practical execution plans.

  • Lead executive interviews, discovery sessions, workshops, and organizational assessments to understand business challenges and transformation opportunities.
  • Analyze operating models, organizational structures, workflows, systems, customer journeys, and performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Identify business risks, operational inefficiencies, technology gaps, and opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Develop strategic recommendations, business cases, operating models, governance frameworks, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Advise organizations on practical and responsible applications of AI, automation, data, and emerging technologies.
  • Design governance structures, decision frameworks, roles, KPIs, reporting practices, and operational processes.
  • Support organizational change initiatives through stakeholder alignment, documentation, training, and adoption strategies.
  • Advise on growth strategies, market positioning, service development, commercialization opportunities, and customer experience improvements.
  • Create innovation concepts, service frameworks, playbooks, and technology-enabled business solutions.
  • Participate in client discussions as a subject-matter expert and strategic advisor.
  • Assess implementation requirements, delivery risks, dependencies, resources, and expected business value.
  • Support the transition of approved recommendations into execution and delivery initiatives.
  • Contribute to business development activities when relevant while maintaining a primary focus on consulting and client advisory work.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an experienced transformation consultant with a strong background in strategy, innovation, technology-enabled change, and executive advisory. You combine analytical thinking with practical business judgment and the ability to translate emerging technologies into valuable business outcomes.

  • Significant professional experience in management consulting, business transformation, strategy, innovation, technology, operations, marketing, or customer experience.
  • Proven ability to advise executives and facilitate discussions with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience assessing organizations, operating models, workflows, processes, and management practices.
  • Strong understanding of AI, automation, digital platforms, data, and technology-driven transformation.
  • Demonstrated experience developing business cases, recommendations, roadmaps, governance models, and performance frameworks.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to evaluate strategic opportunities, feasibility, risks, and business value.
  • Excellent written communication, presentation, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple engagements while managing complex priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Experience commercializing technology-enabled services or developing new business concepts is an advantage.
  • Background in customer experience strategy, service design, innovation, creative technology, or interactive systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM, ERP, marketing automation, analytics, and workflow platforms is beneficial.
  • Experience supporting AI adoption, organizational change, training, or stakeholder enablement is a plus.
  • Previous experience in enterprise consulting, professional services, agency, SaaS, or multi-client environments is highly desirable.
