Marine Business Travel Consultant
A large Travel Management Company (TMC) is looking for an experienced Senior Business Travel Consultant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with working Galileo or Sabre or Amadeus skills and previous senior business travel experience to take the lead role on a dedicated account in the Energy sector. Based from home, or Scotland or wider UK, you will earn a salary up to £33,000 DOE plus excellent benefits.
About the Role
As a Senior Business Travel Consultant you will:
- Manage worldwide travel bookings for a number of business travel clients, using a GDS either Sabre, Galileo, or Amadeus
- Arrange flights, car hire, rail, and hotel reservations in line with client travel policies
- Offer the most cost-effective and convenient travel solutions
- Handle ticketing, reissues, and other administrative tasks
- Being the lead SBTC on a dedicated account - standing as the first in line contact for the client

Requirements
As a Lead Business Travel Consultant you will have:
- Previous experience as a Business Travel Consultant is essential up to senior or lead consultant level
- Strong GDS knowledge is a must
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a home-based role if you want to work from home
- Take on the responsibility of account managing the client whilst being hands-on as a Senior Business Travel Consultant

Additional BTC Info
- Small shift pattern between 8.30 am – 6.30 pm
- Monday to Friday schedule – no weekends!
- Fully homeworking or hybrid or office-based (the latter for Scottish candidates)

- Training for 3 weeks in Scotland - all expenses paid
