Senior Business Unit Partnerships Specialist
London
Hybrid working (Tuesday to Thursday in office)
This role develops and maintains a portfolio of partnerships that creates value for Vanguard and the partner. Works with functional enablement teams to develop the partner offer, and with client coverage teams to deliver the offer to partner clients.
Core Responsibilities
- Influences and collaborates with client coverage teams and cross-functional enablement teams to develop a portfolio of partners that drive significant value for Vanguard and with current and prospective partner clients.
- Works with functional enablement teams to develop partner offer features across the full spectrum of services that Vanguard offers.
- Works with client coverage teams to deploy partner offer features into arrangements with specific current or prospective partners.
- Develops innovative and non-traditional solution designs. Oversees experiments to test-and-learn partner offer features. Conducts analyses required to problem solve with external and internal stakeholders on specific delivery, design, and strategic issues.
- Generates and sustains strong business support by collaborating with team members to help forge common understanding of the commercial decisions/impacts and the partner offers proposed. Drives connection across all appropriate stakeholders to optimize partnership outcomes end-to-end.
- Serves as subject matter expert supporting discussions with internal stakeholders and external clients. Uses knowledge of Vanguard funds, products and services to identify opportunities to strengthen partner relationships.
- Oversees and monitors the health of a portion of the partnership portfolio from end-to-end using internal and external metrics.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Strong related work experience in client-facing, proposition development and/or strategy roles in Financial Services strongly preferred.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
