Senior Buyer – Food & Drink
📍Central London (Hybrid)
Up to £60,000 plus bonus & benefits
Our Client
Our client is a well-established hospitality and foodservice business, supporting an extensive network of locations across the UK. Procurement plays an important role within the organisation, with an experienced team focused on delivering great products, strong supplier partnerships and long-term commercial value.
Based in Central London, this is a great opportunity to join a collaborative procurement function with excellent exposure and opportunities for future career progression.
The Role
This is a broad food procurement role, taking ownership of a portfolio of Food & Drink categories and working closely with suppliers and stakeholders across the business. You'll combine strategic category management with hands-on buying, leading negotiations, developing supplier relationships and using market insights to deliver value, quality, and innovation.

Responsibilities include
- Managing procurement across a portfolio of Food & Drink categories
- Developing category strategies and identifying commercial opportunities
- Leading supplier negotiations, tenders, and contract discussions
- Building strong, collaborative relationships with key food and beverage suppliers
- Working cross-functionally to deliver value, quality, innovation, and supply continuity
- Monitoring commodity and market trends to support commercial decision-making
Required Experience

- 4+ years' procurement or buying experience within Food & Drink
- Experience within hospitality, foodservice, retail, or a multi-site food business
- Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing capabilities
- Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness
- A genuine passion for the food and hospitality industry
