About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and industry-leading manufacturing business with a long-standing reputation for quality, innovation, and continuous improvement. Operating from a modern production facility in South Wales, the company supplies specialist products to customers across the UK and internationally.
Role & Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for indirect/Direct goods and services.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or service, implementing SLA.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (preferable)
- Extensive experience in procurement & inventory management, with a minimum of 5 years experience.
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM).
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Power BI experience
