Are you an ambitious commercial buyer looking to drive growth within a rapid-scale wholesale environment?
A premier wholesale business with aggressive growth plans is seeking an experienced Trading Controller to take ownership of their Licensed category. You will oversee day-to-day trading, negotiate optimum terms, and manage end-to-end stock availability across a vast supplier and customer network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and negotiate optimum pricing, terms, and Joint Business Plans with key category suppliers.
- Build and execute annual promotional strategies, including supplier and retailer trade weeks.
- Hit and exceed commercial KPIs across sales, margin, and stock holding.
- Partner closely with Internal Operations, Finance, and Sales teams to optimise range, stock availability, and new product launches.
- Proactively manage excess and short-dated stock to minimise waste and safeguard commercial performance.

What We Are Looking For:
- Extensive commercial buying experience within an FMCG or wholesale environment.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and deliverable KPIs.
- Strong financial acumen with advanced Microsoft Excel and IT capabilities.
- Practical experience driving continuous improvement within purchasing and supply chain operations.
- A high-energy, results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting.
