YOU
You have a strong interest in Procurement and have gained solid experience in the field, ideally within an FMCG environment.
- You are comfortable managing supplier relationships and working in sourcing activities, negotiations, and tender processes. Your background has enabled you to develop a strong understanding of procurement fundamentals as well as the ability to balance business needs, suppliers’ performance, and operational priorities.
- You possess strong communication and negotiation skills and enjoy working with a wide range of stakeholders across functions, sites, and cultures. You are recognized for your analytical mindset, organization, accountability, and proactive approach.
- You are able to build positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders and feel comfortable acting as an interface between multiple teams and business priorities.
- You are curious, adaptable, and eager to learn. You thrive in dynamic environments where agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement are key to success.
- You have experience working in international environments and demonstrate a strong level of professional English. French and/or Spanish would be a plus.
THE ROLE
As a Senior Buyer - Packaging Plastic PET Preforms & Bottles, reporting to the Procurement Category Manager, you will:
- Set standard budget prices for the assigned sub-categories and monitor Purchase Price Variance (PPV).
- Achieve financial targets for your portfolio through negotiation activities and proactive cost and value optimization initiatives.
- Take full ownership of a strategic packaging category with a strong impact across finance, supply, quality, innovation, and ESG.
- From defining and executing our category strategy to delivering financial performance, you will lead suppliers’ negotiations and performance management while driving continuous improvement across the entire packaging value chain.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key suppliers and ensure close monitoring of quality performance and KPIs, including SLA compliance.
- Leverage SRM methodologies to evaluate supplier performance using an 80/20 approach, define action plans, and ensure systematic follow-up throughout the year.
- With a strong focus on sustainability and innovation, you will be a cornerstone of our Suntory Beverage & Food Europe packaging network and play a key role within our procurement team, proactively contributing to securing competitive advantage and long-term business success.

YOUR PROFILE
- Academic background in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in Procurement or Supply Chain. Knowledge of the packaging industry will be an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office and Procurement IT tools.
- Demonstrated strong negotiation skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a collaborative team spirit.
- Agile, flexible, analytical, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
- Curious, proactive, and genuinely interested in your categories.
- Fluent in English; French and/or Spanish is a plus.
