About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Buyer to join a fast-paced and growing health and beauty manufacturing business.

You will be a confident negotiator with strong commercial awareness, able to analyse costs and margins, identify opportunities and build long-term relationships with international suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sourcing and purchasing activities across health, beauty, personal care and related categories.
  • Source new products and suppliers internationally, with a particular focus on China.
  • Develop and manage product ranges in line with customer and market requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing, MOQs, payment terms and wider commercial agreements with suppliers.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with international suppliers.

  • Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities without compromising quality or service.
  • Monitor supplier performance, ensuring agreed quality, pricing, delivery and service levels are achieved.
  • Attend supplier meetings and maintain regular communication with key manufacturing partners.
  • Work closely with internal teams including product development, sales, operations and quality.
  • Support new product development projects from initial concept through to launch.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and wider industry developments to identify new opportunities.
  • Ensure purchasing decisions support the company's commercial and growth objectives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
