Help Build The Supply Chain Behind The UK's Energy Future

Most procurement roles support an organisation.

This one helps build an industry.

UK Fusion Energy (UKFE) is leading the delivery of STEP, the UK's prototype fusion energy plant at West Burton. Bringing together government, industry and world-leading expertise, the programme is helping establish the partnerships, supply chains and commercial foundations needed to support the future of fusion energy.

For procurement professionals who want to work on something with genuine purpose, opportunities like this are incredibly rare.

As Senior Buyer, you'll support procurement activity across a nationally significant programme, helping shape sourcing strategies, build supplier relationships and contribute to major commercial decisions within a complex and evolving environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Strategic procurement activity
  • Supplier engagement and development
  • Sourcing and category strategies
  • Procurement governance and compliance
  • Commercial negotiations
  • Supporting major programme delivery
  • Building relationships across industry and the supply chain

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
