Senior Buyer

As a Senior Buyer for this highly successful womenswear retailer, you'll play a key role in managing product selection and supplier relationships to ensure the best offerings for customers.

Based in Birmingham, this role focuses on making sure the business stays ahead by identifying trends and acting with pace.

This role is with a highly successful womenswear retailer based in Birmingham.

Description

  • Develop product and source and select branded products that align with the company's strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure favourable terms.
  • Analyse market trends to identify new opportunities for the product range.
  • Monitor sales performance and adjust buying strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with buying and merchandising teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximise cost efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data.

A successful Senior Buyer - Brands should have:

  • Proven experience in a womenswear buying role (5 years+).
  • Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
