Handley James are proud to be partnering with a well-established SME manufacturer, renowned for delivering high-quality bespoke products. As a result of continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Senior Buyer to further strengthen their purchasing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to join a well-established SME and make a real difference to the business. As Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for leading key purchasing projects.

- The management of key commodities and purchasing strategies
- Balancing strategic purchasing with transactional elements
- Managing a Global supply base
- Leading purchasing projects
An experienced Buyer or Senior Buyer it is essential that you have experience in a manufacturer and ideally an SME. You will be experienced in supplier management, supplier negotiation, and cost down initiatives. You will be open to continued development and support as well as have the confidence to drive your own initiatives. Experience in commodity management and or market analysis would be a distinct advantage.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join an established, secure, and growing manufacturer in order to further support their progression. This role offers a very competitive basic salary of up to £50,000 and an excellent holiday entitlement of 25 days plus bank holidays plus Christmas Shutdown in addition to the 25. This is an opportunity with a growing manufacturer, so progression is available.
