Job Opening: Senior Buying Manager / Head of Buying – Branded Tools

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Buying Manager / Head of Buying – Branded Tools to join our team in Milton Keynes.

About the Role

This is a key commercial role focused on managing and developing relationships with major professional tool brands such as Milwaukee, DeWalt, Makita, Bosch, HiKOKI, and others.

Responsibilities

The role will take ownership of:

  • Supplier negotiations and commercial terms
  • Stock, availability, and range management
  • Margin improvement
  • Rebates and promotional support
  • Supplier relationships
  • Buying discipline and team development

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who understands that good buying is not just about placing orders. It’s about margin, stock turn, cash, supplier relationships, and making strong commercial decisions.

Experience within tools, hardware, construction products, trade supplies, or a similar sector would be ideal.
