⚡ Hiring: Senior C++ Low-Latency Developer — Remote (UK / NL / FR)

A top-tier global trading firm is building out a small, senior low-latency team and hiring a Senior C++ Engineer to write the hot path for its automated/electronic trading systems. This is genuinely one of the most demanding low-latency environments in the industry — deep, tick-to-trade C++ working alongside traders and quant researchers.

If you're driven by cutting-edge technical challenge rather than just comp, and you want to work at the absolute performance frontier, this is that role.

⚙️ What you'll do

  • Write and optimise the low-latency hot path for automated trading
  • Work across market-data systems — feed handlers, ticker plant, order book, FIX connectivity
  • Push tick-to-trade performance with lock-free, cache-aware, kernel-bypass techniques
  • Collaborate directly with traders and quant researchers

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
