About The Role

Triad is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior C# Developer to join our dynamic team. This role offers flexibility, with opportunities to work at client locations, remotely, or from our offices in Godalming or Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated software applications utilizing the.NET Core framework along with associated web technologies such as React, Blazor, or Angular.

As a Senior Developer at Triad, you will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative digital solutions across public, private, and third sectors. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and fellow developers, to understand project requirements, propose effective solutions, and deliver high-quality, maintainable code. Your expertise will contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and efficient software systems.

This role requires active SC clearance due to the sensitive nature of some projects. You will be at the forefront of solving complex problems, working within a culture that values autonomy, creativity, and technical excellence. Your contributions will directly impact national initiatives and societal safety, making this a highly rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a degree or equivalent qualification related to software development or a relevant technical field, although this is desirable rather than mandatory. Crucially, candidates must hold an active Security Clearance (SC) due to the sensitive nature of the work involved.

Additional certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies are advantageous, but not essential. The focus is on proven experience and technical proficiency in developing complex software solutions using C# and the.NET ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain C# applications, components, and systems that meet client specifications and quality standards.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to project standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software applications to identify issues, optimize performance, and implement fixes promptly.
  • Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and technologies in software development and web frameworks.
  • Document technical specifications, design decisions, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development methodologies, tools, and processes within the team.
