About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior C# Developer to join Triad Group Plc’s dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex and impactful projects across various sectors, including public, private, and third sectors. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust software applications using the.NET Core framework, along with associated web technologies such as React, Blazor, or Angular. Your expertise will be instrumental in translating client requirements into functional, scalable, and efficient solutions.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to ensure the delivery of high-quality software. You will participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices. This position is flexible, with options to work remotely, at client sites, or from our offices in Godalming or Milton Keynes. The salary package offers up to £65,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and career development.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess relevant educational qualifications and extensive experience in software development practices. A degree or equivalent qualification related to computer science, software engineering, or a related field is desirable. Candidates should have at least 8+ years of proven experience as a C# Developer or in a similar software development role.
Proficiency in C# programming language and.NET framework, including.NET Core, is essential. A strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles is required, along with experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, and ORM frameworks like Entity Framework. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is beneficial. Experience working within Agile or Scrum methodologies and using version control systems like Git is also preferred.
Due to the nature of the security clearance required for this role, candidates must be willing and eligible to achieve SC clearance. To be eligible, candidates should have been residents in the UK for a minimum of five years and possess the right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining C# applications, components, and systems that meet client specifications and industry standards. You will write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards to ensure software quality and longevity. Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, you will gather requirements, propose technical solutions, and contribute to the overall architecture of projects.

Participating in code reviews, you will ensure code quality, provide constructive feedback, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Troubleshooting and debugging software applications will be a regular task, aimed at resolving issues promptly and optimizing performance. You will also stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in web development and software engineering, integrating new tools and approaches where appropriate.
Documentation of code and technical specifications will be essential to facilitate maintenance and future development. Additionally, you will contribute to refining development processes, methodologies, and best practices, helping to establish a high standard of technical excellence within the team.
