About The Role
Triad Group Plc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior C# Developer to join our dynamic team. This role offers flexibility, with the opportunity to work at client locations, remotely, or from our offices in Godalming or Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining advanced software applications utilizing.NET Core and associated web frameworks such as React, Blazor, and Angular.

As a Senior Developer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including designers, product managers, and fellow developers—to understand project requirements, propose innovative solutions, and deliver high-quality, scalable code that aligns with client needs. You will be instrumental in shaping the technological landscape of our projects, ensuring best practices, performance, and security are maintained throughout the development lifecycle.
This position requires an active Security Clearance (SC), given the sensitive nature of our work. You will have the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that serve national interests and public safety while working within a culture that encourages autonomy, creativity, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a degree or equivalent qualification related to software development or computer science, although this is desirable rather than mandatory. Crucially, candidates must hold an active SC clearance due to the sensitive nature of our projects.
Additionally, The Candidate Should Demonstrate
- Proven experience of 8+ years as a C# Developer or in a similar software development role.
- Proficiency in C# programming language and the.NET Framework, including .NET Core.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, and ORM frameworks like Entity Framework.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar, with an understanding of responsible and secure AI use.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust C# applications, components, and systems aligned with project requirements.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand project scope, propose solutions, and deliver high-quality software.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality and consistency.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues promptly to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and technologies in software development and web frameworks.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation and specifications for developed solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, methodologies, and team capabilities.
