Department Overview:

Latency Sensitive Electronic Trading (LSET) provide execution and market data services to our clients offering a range of products. The team is globally based ensuring we are able to support our clients across the globe.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a C/C++ developer to join our low latency development team. The team provides industry leading low-latency trading services for our clients, utilising multiple technologies. The candidate will focus on the C/C++ components and will be working alongside the wider development team. The role will require the candidate to be involved in all stages of development.

Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge required:

  • Proven C/C++ development experience.
  • Experience with financial markets.
  • Experience of order entry gateway development.
  • Knowledge of Linux.
  • Understanding of network protocols is beneficial.
  • Experience with Kernel development is beneficial.
  • Some scripting knowledge.
  • Understanding of FPGAs is useful.
  • Is motivated by working in a high performing team.
  • Is flexible to change work streams as business priorities change.
  • Candidates should enjoy working in an agile development environment.
