Role Overview

Team Creation is a leading Gaming development company. We opt to deliver innovative products and immersive Gaming experiences to the player worldwide. We are seeking an experienced Senior C++ Developer to lead the design and development of high-performance backend systems within our Gaming platform. This role combines hands-on engineering excellence with technical leadership responsibilities, including mentoring junior and mid-level developers, reviewing code quality, and driving best engineering practices across the team.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern C++, distributed systems, and high-concurrency server applications, with the ability to contribute strategically to architecture decisions and long-term technical roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and evolution of technology strategies, roadmaps, and system reviews, while identifying and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Play a key role in system architecture and product design, delivering high-quality engineering solutions using C++.
  • Develop, test, and deploy scalable, high-performance solutions, ensuring the ability to handle demanding workloads.
  • Collaborate closely with front-end developers and cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient APIs, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in a microservices architecture, with a focus on scalability and horizontal scaling for performance-critical services.
  • Conduct in-depth code reviews for junior and mid-level developers to ensure quality, performance, and maintainability.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and coaching to support professional growth within the team.
  • Establish and promote coding standards, review processes, and engineering best practices.
  • Support troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis for complex technical issues.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in C++ backend development.
  • Strong expertise in modern C++ and high-performance system design.
  • Extensive experience with multi-threading and concurrency.
  • Experience building high-load server applications, particularly using TCP-based protocols.
  • Solid experience with relational databases (SQL-based systems), including query optimization and schema design.
  • Familiarity with web security best practices, ensuring secure coding and application design.
  • Experience working with gaming products or similar performance-critical applications is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Oracle databases or similar enterprise-level database systems is a plus.
  • Proficient in Chinese is a plus.
