About this role

RNDpoint (4ireLabs) is the staffing partner; end client is Millennium — a US-based, top-3 hedge fund (do NOT name in outreach). This is a headhunting search (not a volume play) for a Senior C++ Low-Latency Developer. Poland was tried extensively (~15-20 submissions, only 1 offer; other outstaffing firms also failed there) and is now considered exhausted — pivoted to UK (primary) Netherlands France. Fully remote, 12-month contract convertible to full-time. Pipeline is empty (project created 2026-08-05); no progressed-candidate signal exists yet, so this toolkit is domain-derived rather than mirror-of-liked-profiles.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Ideal candidate

  • A senior, hands-on C++ engineer (~6+ yrs) who writes the low-latency hot path for automated/electronic trading. Modern C++ (C++17 minimum, C++20 preferred).
  • Ideally direct market-data experience (feed handlers, ticker plant, FIX, order book).
  • Pedigree from a proprietary trading firm, market-maker, HFT shop, investment-bank e-trading desk, or systematic hedge fund.
  • Based in the UK (best), Netherlands, or France; comfortable with a fully-remote 12-month contract convertible to permanent.
  • Motivated by the technical challenge / wanting more cutting-edge work rather than by pay.
