About the Role
My prestigious financial service client is seeking an experienced C# /.NET Developer to design, develop and support high-performance applications across Risk Management and/or Securities Lending platforms. You will work closely with quants, risk managers, business analysts and product owners to deliver scalable solutions in a regulated financial-services environment.
What you'll do:
- Design, develop, and maintain C# /.NET applications supporting Risk or Securities Lending platforms
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs
- Build scalable, testable and maintainable solutions
- Support risk, exposure, limits and reporting workflows
- Work with large data sets and high-throughput systems
- Participate in technical design, code reviews and production support
- Collaborate with Risk, Front Office, Operations and Compliance teams

What you'll bring:
- Strong C# and modern.NET experience
- Excellent OOP and software-design skills
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON and SQL databases
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS)
- Hands on with messaging technologies (e.g. Kafka)
- Experience in front to back trading or financing systems
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum delivery methodologies
- Exposure to risk and regulatory methodologies such as: RWA (Risk Weighted Assets); CCAR or Basel III / Basel IV frameworks are highly beneficial
