Senior C++ Software Engineer / Developer

Location: London / WFH

Salary: to £80k

About the Role

As a Senior C++ Software Engineer you'll develop high performance systems that sit at the heart of the platform, helping organisations automatically detect, analyse and neutralise attacks without human intervention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high performance systems in modern C++ (C++17/23) in a Linux environment
  • Build low latency, highly concurrent software where performance, reliability, and scalability are paramount
  • Opportunities to specialise in systems programming, performance optimisation or security focused development
  • Work with Rust
  • Provide technical leadership, taking ownership of features from design through to deployment
  • Lead code reviews, mentor engineers, contribute to sprint planning and technical direction
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver high quality software

Location / WFH

  • You can work from home most of the time, meeting up with colleagues in the London office twice a week

About You

  • Strong commercial C++ development experience (C++17 / 20 / 23)
  • Experience of building high performance, low latency systems on Linux
  • Good understanding of systems programming, concurrency, and performance optimisation
  • Some Rust experience, this could be in your own time, happy to use going forward
  • Comfortable leading technical delivery, mentoring developers, and driving engineering best practice
  • Collaborative approach with excellent problem solving skills
