Senior C++ Software Engineer (Trading Systems)
📍 Waterloo, London (Hybrid)
💷 £600 - £748 per day (Inside IR35)
📅 Initial 6-Month Contract with extensions available up to 3 years
We're partnering with a leading global organisation seeking an experienced Senior C++ Software Engineer to join a high-performing technology team building and enhancing business-critical trading and risk systems.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, large-scale applications in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with talented engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.

What you'll be doing:
- Developing high-performance applications using modern C++
- Designing scalable, resilient software solutions
- Working across the full software development lifecycle
- Building and enhancing integration solutions and APIs
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technology solutions
- Contributing to architecture, design decisions, and engineering best practices
Skills & Experience:
- Strong commercial experience with C++
- Experience building enterprise-grade applications
- Knowledge of software design patterns and object-oriented programming
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Financial services, trading, commodities, risk, or market data experience would be highly advantageous
