Equans Sci-Tech is recruiting for a Senior CAD/Revit Technician

About the Role
The Senior CAD/Revit Technician will work on projects within the fields of Data Centres, Pharmaceutical / Clean Room Environments, Process Engineering & Industrial Works.
The successful Senior CAD/Revit Technician will produce and maintain building information models/drawings to assist in the overall design and construction process. Working with some of the industry’s most talented people, the Senior Technician will have skills in the design process and will work on exciting projects for the company.
What You Will Deliver
- Preparing and issuing all relevant drawing and modelling documentations for projects based on given specifications and calculations.
- Exercise the skill, care and judgement to be expected of an experienced engineering technician to ensure the drawings you are responsible for are complete, correctly detailed and free from error.
- Create, adapt and amend existing CAD/Revit designs that need editing.
- Work closely with the rest of the team on projects and take responsibility for checking your own work and work produced by others.
- Work to company standard and adhere to processes and procedures.
- Visit sites as required in order to gain practical experience of installation practices and apply these to improve design effectiveness.
- Ensure work is completed accurately and to a high standard.
- Ensure Health & Safety is considered throughout all duties.

Who We Are Looking For
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages.
- Proven experience with AutoCAD/Revit.
- The ability to solve technically challenging problems.
- The ability to communicate and hold technical conversations, internally and externally.
- Be a self-starter and be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Take responsibility for ensuring that deliverables are met.
- Be organised with meticulous attention to details.
- Commercial awareness.
- A degree or HND / HNC in a Construction or Engineering discipline.
