Job Title: Senior Campaigns Officer

Location: Newham

Term: Temp - initially 3 months

Rate: £26.13 PAYE hour

Our client in Newham, is seeking a talented and creative Senior Campaigns Officer to spearhead high-profile communication and marketing campaigns that engage and inform residents. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a significant impact on the community.

About The Role

In this pivotal position, the Senior Campaigns Officer will lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing and communication campaigns. Collaborating with various teams across the Council, the successful candidate will ensure campaigns resonate with residents, driving engagement and supporting the organisation's priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish campaign objectives and key messages.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently.
  • Coordinate efforts across communications, digital, content, and social media teams.
  • Ensure campaign messaging is clear, inclusive, and accessible.
  • Analyse campaign performance and implement improvements as needed.
  • Provide regular updates and evaluations of campaign success.
  • Develop communication toolkits and training for internal teams.
  • Support crisis communications and manage emergency messaging when required.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in planning and delivering successful communication or marketing campaigns.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in at least two areas such as media relations, digital marketing, or behaviour change campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • A relevant degree or professional qualification, along with evidence of ongoing professional development.
