Senior Care Assistant

Up to £14.84 per hour + Enhanced weekend and night rates (where applicable)

Full and part-time contracts available

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading and supporting a small team of care assistants during your shift
  • Coordinating care delivery and ensuring high standards are maintained
  • Administering medication and maintaining accurate care records
  • Reviewing and updating care plans
  • Supporting shift handovers and communicating effectively across teams
  • Mentoring, training and supporting new team members
  • Building positive relationships with residents, families, GPs and healthcare professionals
  • Providing compassionate personal care and promoting resident wellbeing

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience working in a care assistant role, ideally at Senior Care Assistant level
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or willingness to work towards it with our support
  • Confidence leading and motivating a small care team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding person-centred care
