Role Description
The Senior Care Worker will provide hands-on, person-centered care and support to service users in an on-site setting located in Edgware. This part-time role includes:

- Assisting with personal care, mobility, nutrition, medication prompts, and daily living activities while promoting independence and respect for individual choices.
- Helping coordinate care plans, monitor changes in service users’ health and wellbeing, and report concerns promptly to the appropriate professionals.
- Maintaining accurate records.
- Supporting junior staff.
- Ensuring compliance with care and safety standards.
- Collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams to deliver consistent, high-quality care.

Qualifications
- Experience in care work or support work, preferably in domiciliary care, residential homes, or similar settings.
- Strong skills in person-centered care, safeguarding, and promoting dignity, choice, and independence.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with service users, families, colleagues, and health professionals.
- Competence in basic care documentation, record-keeping, and following care plans and policies.
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and respond to changing needs.
- Relevant care qualifications (e.g., NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or equivalent) or willingness to work toward them.
- Understanding of UK care standards and Care Quality Commission regulations.
- Right to work in the UK and ability to work part time on-site in Edgware; flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
