Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Carer/Team Leader to oversee the daily operations of our care facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing excellent care to residents.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise the daily workload of Healthcare Assistants.
- Provide direct care to residents, including personal care and support with daily activities.
- Administer medication and monitor health conditions.
- Maintain and oversee accurate documentation and care records.
- Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
- Support management in quality assurance frameworks and compliance with CQC standards.
- Plan and organize activities to enhance residents' well-being.
- Act as a liaison between Healthcare Assistants, residents, families, and management.
- Train and mentor new staff members, ensuring adherence to best practices and policies.
- Provide additional cover for shifts during annual leave or sickness, ensuring continuity of care.

- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care; progression to NVQ Level 4 is also expected.
- Proven experience in a senior care role.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of care regulations and quality standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.71-£13.71 per hour
