We are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join the Qatar Airways UK&I Cargo Team as a Senior Cargo Account Executive based in London Heathrow.
You will be responsible for managing relationships with Qatar Airways Cargo’s freight forwarder accounts, developing a successful, consistent approach to local and multinational dealing.
This new position will offer the successful candidate a unique opportunity to plan, direct, and control the selling and marketing activities for Qatar Airways Cargo across the UK. This is a highly varied role covering a wide scope of responsibilities, with the freedom to work independently and take ownership of this dynamic market.

Key Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains long-term strategic relationships with Qatar Airways Cargo’s top local/global freight forwarders and shippers in the assigned territory.
- Prepares an account development plan to achieve short-, medium-, and long-term mutual benefits.
- Contributes to the formulation and implementation of QR Cargo sales strategy to maximize short- and long-term revenue opportunities, reduce cost of sale, and generate diversification where needed.
- Fully responsible for individual sales budgets and targets.
- Ensures focus and activities prioritize high yield sales and profitability maximization.
- Reviews QR Cargo sales data with account portfolio to drive revenue and seek out tactical revenue opportunities.
- Uses Salesforce as the only CRM tool and makes sure account-related information is up-to-date.
- Manages and coordinates projects and initiatives on behalf of area of responsibility.
- Develops tactical sales activity in support of sales opportunities.
- Maintains sales professionalism standards.
- Provides regular market intelligence and feedback from customers and competitors.
- Represents QR Cargo at trade events, promotions, and sales functions.
- Performs other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

- Strong understanding of the air cargo or the freight forwarding industry.
- Strong commercial acumen, and ability to analyze data to drive commercial results.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
- The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, solutions oriented, and a self-starter.
- Customer-centric mindset and exceptional relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory, driving license required.
You must have the current legal right to live and work in the UK to be considered for this role.
