The purpose of the role is responsible for the categories across our global footprint covering all TwiningsOvo sites on a global level. Senior Category Leader is accountable for the strategic category management process which includes strategy definition and execution to drive innovation, value adding, risk management and sustainability. This role also ensures effective business partnering with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment on planning, organization, and delivery of strategy category targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Accountable to ensure strategic category strategies developed, approved, and implemented according to the category road map across all responsible categories, sites, and markets.
• Lead the continued build of expertise and category management excellence for all categories in I.T & Telecoms
• Best in class sourcing and negotiation through to business contract award as aligned with stakeholder groups.
• Individual responsibility to manage assigned I.T & Telecoms categories, to conduct tender processes with national and international suppliers using our e-sourcing tools and responsibility for preparing and monitoring contracts cover positions
• Deployment of best in class tools and processes such as e-sourcing in alignment with digital transformation manager
• Responsible to drive activities to ensure sustainability target for indirect procurement for the assigned categories
• Accountable for monitoring and assessing risk, to build appropriate business continuity plans (BCP) and executing risk mitigation activities for all responsible categories, sites and markets.
• To lead Business Partner with key stakeholders on annual budget building and delivery cycle. Ensure capabilities in place to build align and deliver on agreed priorities. Ensure appropriate ongoing communication to give visibility on team/s performance and progression.
• Accountable to lead strategic supplier management for assigned categories. Set up performance targets, assess performance on regular base and manage supplier to ensure ongoing performance.
• Responsible for Supplier Relationship Management programs in the assigned categories. Make sure that supplier segmentation, development plan and regular meeting are in place.
• Assure excellence of job performance and pursue professional development through professional certification seminars, trade show participation, education, periodicals and supplier contacts.
