Senior Category Manager – IT Procurement | Up to £85,000 + Package | 3-Month FTC | Remote

My client, a large, complex global organisation, is looking for an experienced Senior Category Manager – IT Procurement to join its procurement function on an initial 3-month fixed-term contract.

This is a senior role within the IT procurement function, taking ownership of a significant portfolio of technology spend. We are specifically looking for someone with strong IT category experience who can quickly add value within a fast-paced and complex environment.

The role is predominantly remote, with travel required a few times per month, and offers a salary of up to £85,000 + package, pro rata. While this is initially a 3-month FTC, the procurement function is going through a significant period of change and transformation, meaning there could be further opportunities in the future.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
