This is a senior opportunity to shape category strategy, lead complex software and SaaS negotiations, deliver commercial value, and influence strategic technology programmes.
Category Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver global Software and Technology category strategies.
- Lead high-value negotiations across Software, SaaS, Cloud, and related services.
- Drive cost reduction, licence optimisation, supplier consolidation, and value improvement.
- Build strong relationships with strategic suppliers and senior Technology, Finance, Legal and Risk stakeholders.
- Partner with technology and transformation teams on strategic programmes.
- Coach and develop Category Managers and Senior Buyers.
- Manage category pipelines, savings, renewals, supplier performance, and governance.

About you:
- Strong Technology Procurement experience, particularly Software and SaaS.
- Proven track record of complex negotiations and commercial value delivery.
- Experience developing category strategies within a large/global organisation.
- Strong stakeholder management and commercial judgement.
- Experience leading procurement teams.
- Financial Services, FinTech, or regulated-sector experience is desirable.
- MCIPS or equivalent procurement qualification is advantageous.
