About The Role

We are looking for a superstar Senior Category Manager to join our EU team! In this role, you will lead the development and delivery of European product marketing plans across Colour, Complexion, Skincare and Fragrance, in partnership with the Head of Marketing EU. Translate global brand strategy into regional category priorities, driving portfolio performance, hero product growth and successful innovation. Lead two Category Managers, supported by one shared Category Analyst.

As a Senior Category Manager you will

  • Develop integrated EU product marketing plans with the Head of Marketing EU, aligned with Retail and Gross sales, market share and commercial priorities.
  • Lead Category Managers in developing category visions, growth plans and portfolio architecture, balancing global and regional hero products with new product development (NPD).
  • Consolidate category recommendations and align strategic priorities with the Head of Marketing EU, supporting wider alignment with global partners and the senior leadership team.
  • Lead cross-category NPD and promotional prioritisation with commercial and global teams; evaluate category business cases for new products and sets addressing European opportunities.
  • Coordinate cross-category launch and promotional planning, resolving competing priorities and ensuring category plans support a coherent regional product offer.
  • Oversee portfolio and lifecycle performance across NPD and core; challenge demand and supply assumptions with Category Managers and Supply Chain to optimise availability and productivity.
  • Develop differentiated channel portfolio priorities across Specialty, Department Stores and Online/Pure Players, ensuring regional consistency while addressing local sub-category opportunities.
  • Consolidate pricing, positioning and lifecycle recommendations, reviewing pricing ladders, competitiveness, value perception and margin implications with the Head of Marketing EU.
  • Use market, competitor and portfolio analysis to identify and size growth opportunities; partner with Global NPD teams on relevant regional product needs.
  • Review cross-category performance using shared analytical reporting; agree corrective actions with Category Managers and escalate material risks or trade-offs to the Head of Marketing EU.
  • Partner with Go-To-Market, VM, Sales, REOPS and Communications to align product priorities, launch readiness and execution across European markets.
  • Lead, coach and develop both Category Managers; align priorities for the shared Category Analyst and resolve competing requests across the team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
