Senior Category Marketing Manager (3-Month Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: Uxbridge
As part of the Pilgrim's Europe way of working, this is an office-based role in Uxbridge, with an expectation to be on-site 5 days per week.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Category Marketing Manager to join Pilgrim's Europe on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a category professional who can quickly step into a fast-paced environment, provide immediate value, and support key category and innovation projects.
As the category expert, you'll bring the voice of the consumer and shopper into the business, helping shape category strategy, unlock growth opportunities, and support the development of a consumer-led innovation pipeline.
Working closely with Commercial, Innovation, Development, and Customer teams, you'll have the opportunity to influence key decisions and make a real impact from day one.

What You'll Be Doing
- Build, develop, and execute category strategies that drive growth.
- Deliver category insights, shopper understanding, and recommendations to customer-facing teams.
- Represent the voice of the consumer and shopper across the business.
- Lead consumer and shopper insight projects to identify opportunities and trends.
- Partner with Innovation and Development teams to build and strengthen the innovation pipeline.
- Translate complex data into compelling insights and actionable recommendations.
- Influence stakeholders across Commercial, Marketing, Innovation, and Operations.
- Work with external agencies to deliver insight and category projects.
About You
This role requires someone who can quickly understand the business, build strong relationships, and make an immediate contribution.
You'll Have
- Proven experience in Category Marketing, Category Management, Customer Marketing, or Insight roles within FMCG.
- A track record of developing and delivering category strategies.
- Strong consumer, shopper, and market insight experience.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability.
- Experience working with innovation and product development projects.
- Experience partnering with UK Grocery Multiple Retailers.
